Day 10 — Breath of Fresh Air

Teddy continues to do really well overall. It’s taken him some time to reach healthy levels of glucose and Vitamin D, and we’re still waiting for him to consistently gain a bit of weight, but if all continues to go well we’re hopeful that he’ll be discharged tomorrow morning.

The three of us went for a walk outside today to the Hospital’s rooftop garden to get Teddy his first breath of fresh air. As you can see he couldn’t hide his excitement. We certainly can’t hide ours to go home with a healthy baby. We’ll post again over the next few days outlining next steps, but this blog will hopefully be pretty quiet for a while.

Meg and I want to again express our gratitude for everyone’s continued support through messages, videos, visits, cards and gifts. Teddy is a lucky little guy to be welcomed into the world by an amazing community of people.
