All is good — Meg and the baby are doing very well, Meg has her epidural and is comfortable, and the doctors expect labor to progress more rapidly over the next several hours. Prayers and good vibes that labor continues to go smoothly. We’ve been told to get our April Fools Birthday jokes ready…
Day 1 of Induction
Meg and the baby are both doing great, it’s just taking some time to trigger active labor (which is not at all unusual for a first pregnancy). The entire medical team has been phenomenal and we have every reason to expect that things will go smoothly, but we may have another 24-48 hours until delivery. Thank you for your thoughts and messages — more to come.
New Induction Date
We couldn’t wait to get the show on the road and there was some availability at Brigham and Women’s for Meg to get induced a bit earlier, so we’ll be getting up bright and early and starting the induction at 6 AM on Saturday.
